Chenier Consulting Canada in the Workplace
Richard
has a special interest in mental wellness in the
Canadian workplace and shares his unique personal and
professional experience from both an employer and
employee perspective. He promotes back to work
strategies that are founded on education, early
intervention, prevention and the financial and social
burden of mental illness in the workplace. He advocates
recovery models which are centred on promoting safe
workplaces and peer support. Richard brings his skills
and vast experience to bear in improving mental health
literacy in the workplace which in turn confers early
recognition and intervention, prevention and the
reduction of stigma and discrimination. His extensive
experience in planning and policy development at a
senior level, combined with his background in mental
health, allows him to assist your corporation or
organization by:
-
Providing your managers and staff with the necessary
training and tools to deal with MH issues in the
workplace
-
Assisting employers to develop workplace mental wellness
plans and policies to ensure that their approach is
systematic, thorough and equitable to all staff
More recently, Richard has been
